NL Symphonic music NOW – creating, playing, sharing

How can we work together to perform Dutch symphonic music more often? How can we better identify and address the challenges in creating, programming and profiling Dutch symphonic music? What inspiring examples are there? And how do we, together with the entire chain, promote the performance climate for Dutch symphonic music?

Orchestras, composers and programmers spent an October afternoon in the studio of the RCO House and worked together on future-proof strategies and pacts. Mark van Dongen (artistic assistant Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) and Esther Gottschalk (director Nieuw Geneco) present the initial findings and invite us to think along.
